From the principal's desk

Welcome to Hebron-Harman Elementary School! Currently, Hebron-Harman provides services for pre-schoolers through grade five students. Learning must be any school’s central mission and we at Harman believe students can and will learn. We have created an environment that provides excellence in teaching and learning so that all students will participate responsibly in our diverse and changing world. Students, staff, parents and businesses are all part of our collaborative learning community. This, of course, does not happen without a talented and hard working cadre of teachers. Our dedicated professionals engage in a continual process of learning and self-assessment, a process that is sustained by both county-sponsored and teacher-implemented support programs. This helps us design appropriately challenging and relevant curricula, all carefully aligned to state standards. This reflects our belief that learning to teach is a life-long process demanding shared leadership, collegiality, a common vision, and a commitment to grow.
