Board Raised School Lunch Prices ---

School lunch prices will go up next fall for the first time in three years. Meal prices haven’t gone up for four years, said Jodi Risse, supervisor of the school system’s Food and Nutrition Services. She said the combination of federal and state money and revenue from the lunches isn’t enough to cover expenses of the county’s school lunch program. The new prices are as follow:

♦ Breakfast $1.25
♦ Lunch $2
♦ Milk $0.50
♦ Reduced Price Breakfast $0.30
♦ Reduced Price Lunch $0.40
